This village is majhra of Gram Panchayat Bhikan Pur. Both villages are adjacent, Khalilpur lies on the highway while Bhikan Pur's some part on road. KhalilPur Amru is mainly habitated by Jats, Kashyaps, Dhangar and some Muslims. According to census 2011, village total population is 1,366. Male 699 and female 667. Khalilpur amru is dominated by Jats and having population about 600 people. The main Jat gotra of this village are Chhillar, Dhankhar, Dhariwal, Mechachal, Kapade. The Chhillars were land owners and called Lambardars. Khalilpur Amru having the Chhillar population about 150 people. Many youngsters from this village are settled abroad as NRI (see notable person). The villagers engaged in farming and dominated crops are sugarcane and wheat.
